We’re inviting you to help spread the word about RiverView Health’s Break the Stigma Suicide Awareness & Prevention Walk, hosted by RiverView Recovery Center and Senior Life Solutions in recognition of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and National Recovery Month.

Walk: 5:00 PM (1 mile, starts and ends at the Sports Center)
Free and open to the public
Pre-registration encouraged; on-site registration available
WHAT ATTENDEES CAN EXPECT
- Education on suicide awareness, prevention, warning signs, and how to support someone who may be struggling
- Information on local crisis resources, support services, and how loved ones can help
- Prevention, treatment, recovery, and community resources for mental health and substance use
- Free, anonymous mental health and substance use screenings
- Information on RiverView’s new medication and sharps disposal programs
- Time with behavioral health professionals, recovery staff, and community support providers
