Hope for Recovery

Otter Tail County’s Local Advisory Council on Mental Health invites families and caregivers to come together and learn about mental illnesses, the diagnostic assessment process, treatments, and recovery. You will also learn about crisis management and suicide prevention, tools for healthy relationship building while helping a loved one, and local resources. This workshop is for family, friends, and loved ones of a teen or adult living with a mental illness and not for professional development or observation. Led by trained family members who have been there, this workshop includes presentations, discussions and interactive exercises, as well as support and connection among peers.

Meet in Rooms A and B on the lower level of Lake Region Healthcare. Parking is available and breakfast will be provided.

If you are unable to attend, a substitute individual is welcome to attend in your place, but NAMI Minnesota must be notified in writing (e-mail is acceptable) with the name and contact information for the person who will be attending. NAMI Minnesota reserves the right to cancel any event, conference or class due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If there is a cancellation, participants will be notified by telephone and/or email as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.
